Car care firm Peek Scandinavia is now reselling MDW and will be demonstrating it at a long list of major car shows throughout Denmark and Sweden.

Copenhagen, Denmark: Matt Jensen, former truck driver and founder of the car care firm Peek Scandinavia is now selling Miracle Drywash throughout Scandinavia as well as into several neighbouring countries. In addition to the waterless carwash product being available by mail order through his own website http://www.peekscandinavia.com, Matt will also be taking it with him on his ‘Roadshop Tour’ around Denmark and Sweden where he will display and demonstrate the product at a long list of major, high profile car and truck shows.

The Peek-mobile!

Miracle Drywash will be on show at the following events:

  • 13 to 14 Sept 2008, Lastbilsmagasinets Truckshow, http://www.lastbilshow.dk in Roskilde which is a truckers festival with 200-300 lorries expected.
Matt first heard about Miracle Drywash in May of this year at the Super Rally show http://www.superrally.dk in Fredericia, Denmark where he was promoting Mozito Car Care products and Peek Polish. Another stall holder there told him that the owner of the website http://www.heavy.nu used the product and loved it. So Matt went online, found MDW’s website and got in touch with the company and placed his order. He will be demonstrating and selling the product at the above 6 shows with many more shows to be planned in the future.

"As soon as I saw that Marks & Spencers were selling it, I knew it had to be a quality product. I didn't even feel a need to test it so I placed an order for a shipment there and then. Now I’ve used it and it's a brilliant product and fast and easy to use,” says Matt.

This is the first time that MDW has been available in Scandinavia. Matt actually plans to sell the product into the Baltics, Iceland and Germany too through a network of dealers as well as through his site. Matt, a former truck driver, has been selling car care products since 2006. “We believe in high quality products – those that we sell are not the cheapest on the market but we guarantee that they are the best around. We have always promised to fully refund our customers if they are not totally satisfied. Needless to say, so far so good - we haven’t had to refund a single penny,” he says.

About Miracle Drywash
Miracle Drywash, manufactured by SJK Products Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex, UK, is a totally waterless washing and polishing system – a revolutionary way to both clean and polish your car, boat, motorbike, or any other metal, glass, or painted surface - with only a single application of the product. The product was endorsed by South East Water in 2006 and was awarded the prestigious Waterwise Marque in 2007 for its contribution towards saving water in the UK. It is available from Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Autoglass who also use it to valet their clients’ vehicles. The company, SJK Products, was co-founded in 2004 by SJ Khebbal, CEO and Tim Jones, Chairman.

Miracle Drywash attends The Mini Day in the North

The day was hosted by
Trent Valley Mini Club

Miracle Drywash had a stall at the 'Mini Owners Club National Rally' ("The Mini Day in the North") which was held at Normandy Hall just outside Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire, last Sunday on Fathers Day. Thousands of people and hundreds of Minis showed up and all went well apart from the weather. Ironically, there was too much water around for a while (there was a downpour). It didn’t ruin the day but it did put a dampener (excuse the pun) on the proceedings.

The spectacle for the day was the Miracle Drywash challenge to see how long it took to clean a Mini with MDW – that, of course, means doing two jobs at once i.e. both cleaning and polishing in one go. Have a guess how long it took? …It was only 7 minutes. Using a hosepipe, bucket, sponge, soap and chamois THEN wax would obviously take longer but they never managed to make a direct comparison – probably because the weather cut things short.

So how long does it take to wash and polish a mini the traditional way?

Miracle Drywash joins forces with Autoglass at White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds

Martyn Hogg, Autoglass Site manager with SJ inside White Rose Shopping Centre

Friday (6th June), Autoglass, who regularly exhibit in the car park of the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds, invited Miracle Drywash to join forces with them for the day. White Rose had decided to make it an ‘Environment Day’ so it was particularly fitting to have Miracle Drywash there.

Autoglass has a permanent presence in car park 1 of the shopping centre so shoppers can get their windscreens repaired while they are shopping. On Friday 6th June, White Rose held an environmental day where environmentally friendly companies exhibited their products and services. So Mark Howe, Central Support Manager, Retail Repair of Autoglass UK, knowing about MDW’s benefits to the environment, invited SJ along to exhibit.

In addition to repairing windscreens, the Autoglass team were also drywashing shoppers’ cars and selling the MDW Car Cleaning Kit in the car park. Meanwhile, inside the shopping centre, SJ, Mark Howe and Martyn Hogg, Autoglass Site manager at White Rose were welcoming customers of White Rose to their stall, handing out both Autoglass and MDW leaflets, explaining the benefits of the waterless car cleaning system and answering questions.

It was the first time MDW had worked together with Autoglass at White Rose Shopping Centre and a great day was had by all.

Normandy Hall ‘Mini Day’ near Scunthorpe

This Sunday, Fathers Day (15th June)
, the Trent Valley Mini Owners Club will be invading Normandy Hall, just north of Scunthorpe for a Mini extravaganza. Around 5000 people are expected to attend!

Amongst the approx 250 Minis that will be on display (50 of which, care of Mini customers of the Astle BMW dealership - arriving in a procession!) will, of course, be the Miracle Drywash stall. Tim and SJ will be demonstrating to the thousands of Mini enthusiasts how easy it is to clean and polish (drywash) your Mini without water.

The poster, specially made for the show,
that
will be displayed on the MDW stall

Also on display will be crafts, static steam engines, motorbikes, show cars and much much more.

A highlight of the day will be the ‘Show & Shine’ competition where votes are cast for the best Mini, with the winner being announced towards the end of the day.

For a bit of fun, there will also be a ‘Water vs Drywash' challenge between two Minis, namely those of Mark Goude, Membership Secretary of the Trent Valley Mini Owners Club, and Peter Towers, their Vice Chairman and Treasurer. Both have agreed to not wash their Minis before the show so they should both be nice and dirty (the Minis, noth their owners that is!). Since MDW both cleans and polishes at the same time, the idea is to see how much longer the traditional water and wax method takes, and therefore, how much time you save by using MDW.
