Ursula McCoy, MD of Miracle Drywash Australia, feels the product has got a bright future in the country where she has now been living since 1989. Originally from Derry, Northern Ireland, Ursula first came across Miracle Drywash in November 2006 when she was on holiday, staying with her brother in law in Scotland. He was running a caravan park website at the time and was interested in the product as it is very popular with caravaners.

“My brother in law had a bottle of Miracle Drywash so we tried it out and really liked what we found,” she recounts. “Water restrictions are in place in all major cities of Australia due to the severe drought that we are currently experiencing. These include restrictions on watering our lawns, using sprinkler systems, refilling swimming pools and washing vehicles, so I think Miracle Drywash is a greatly needed product over here.

“What I really like about Miracle Drywash is that it builds up a really good polish after repeated use. You can tell because the water beads over the polished surface. And I know this is something that other waterless carwash systems don’t do because I researched into what else was on the market,” she asserts.

SJ Khebbal, founder of Crawley-based Miracle Drywash, presented his company’s first tranch of sponsorship funds to Niki Lanik, the Y4HR UK driver and reigning Renault Clio Winter Cup champion at Niki’s Ashurst Wood home during a special cheque-presentation ceremony attended by family and friends.

Y4HR UK’s £25,000 2.0 litre 205 bhp Renault Clio Sport, which is fitted with the latest F1-style data-acquisition kit, was also on display, now adorned with the Miracle Drywash logo. Miracle Drywash is Y4HR UK’s biggest sponsor to date.

“We saw in Niki a young man with his head screwed on right, totally dedicated to what he’s doing, supporting a wonderful cause (human rights) and a driver who already has an impressive driving record with a promising career ahead of him,” says Khebbal. “We wish him all the best in his forthcoming championship round of the Clio Cup on 24 June 2007 at Alton Park, near Manchester.”

20 year-old Austrian-born Niki is very pleased with his recent new sponsorship deal.

Waterless carwash system recognised for reducing water wastage in the UK

OXFORD: The waterless carwash product, Miracle Drywash, was honoured in March 2007, on United Nations World Water Day, by Waterwise, the UK’s leading authority on water efficiency. The product was awarded the prestigious Waterwise Marque at the annual Waterwise Water Efficiency Conference, held at Oxford University.

The Marque is awarded annually to products which reduce water wastage or raise the awareness of water efficiency. Judged by a panel of water efficiency experts, Miracle Drywash was awarded the Marque because it offers a major contribution to water efficiency and it was also considered to give out a good message in terms of saving both water and time.
