Prestige Mobile Valeting Services' switch to Miracle Drywash featured in the Dorset Echo

Car valeter uses much less water

LET'S face it - we could all do with using less water.

According to Waterwise, the leading authority on water efficiency in the UK, there is an underlying water resource problem in this country and the effects of climate change means that rainfall will be more intense, leading to more droughts and floods.

We all use on average 150 litres a day so it is essential that we all reduce the amount of water we waste.

Someone who is helping that is car valeter Paul Fairless of Crossways who is using a waterless product for his business.

"It's amazing because a 500ml bottle will save a ton of water," said Paul who is the only person in the area distributing Miracle Dry Wash.

The product is eco-friendly as well because it contains no detergents.

Paul, who runs Prestige Mobile Valeting Services, said: "I think it must have been designed for the desert.

"I had been looking for a waterless product because I was conscious how much water I was getting through.

"I still use some water because you need it for really grubby wheels but it's nowhere near as much as I used to get through.

"As well as using it for valeting I can distribute it as well. Customers are impressed because they know it's better for the environment."
