4.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, limited scope..., 30 Mar 2009
By J. Ryan (UK)
The product does as it says,.. cleans and polishes the bodywork well and I was pleasantly suprised that it does seem to 'lift' the dirt off the paintwork,.. though I can't help feeling that it may 'grind' the dirt a tad when you wipe it off. Nevertheless it does it's job. Compared to convetional wash/polishes I don't feel that it meets the mark, I have owned two sports cars with 'superior' paintwork and on neither did it prove as good results as P21 or even Autoglym. If you are short on time or taking your car to a show and need to clean it there,.. it is the best solution you are going to get

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, 24 Mar 2009
By Mr. R. Lim
This product is very easy to use.

1. Give a small area of the car a few squirts of the dry wash.
2. Gently spread the liquid over the small area with the 1st (provided) cloth.
3. Move onto another area and repeat from step 1, until the whole car is covered.
4. Once you have done that (probably take around 6-7 minutes) the first areas should have dried.
5. Move to each area that you did in step 1 (in sequence) and gently buff/polish it with the 2nd (provided) cloth.

Altogether, it will probably take around 15 minutes.

I did it just over the last weekend on my car that had been for a service and car wash 2 weeks before, and it managed to get a lot of dirt off - the cloths were filthy by the end.

Also, it gives the car a nice shiny water-repellent finish so if it rains you can see the rain forming beads on the car.

This kit has everything you need, which is the bottle of dry wash, a spray attachment, a pair of latex gloves, and two cloths.

R & J Mobile Valeting uses Miracle Drywash

John Johnson received a flyer about the waterless car cleaning product, Miracle Drywash, in the post about 6 months ago. So he asked for a sample and tried it - on his wife's car! - and he liked the result, so much so that John now uses Miracle Drywash in his Gatwick Park & Ride valeting service (on the Charlwood Road, Lowfield Heath, Crawley) called R & J Mobile Valeting, for his top valets.

John set up the company in 2003.

It was a charity carwash with a difference, however, because not a drop of water was used to wash the approx 30 cars. Instead, they used Miracle Drywash! Prestige Mobile Valeting Services' switch to Miracle Drywash featured in the Dorset Echo

Car valeter uses much less water

LET'S face it - we could all do with using less water.

According to Waterwise, the leading authority on water efficiency in the UK, there is an underlying water resource problem in this country and the effects of climate change means that rainfall will be more intense, leading to more droughts and floods.

We all use on average 150 litres a day so it is essential that we all reduce the amount of water we waste.

Someone who is helping that is car valeter Paul Fairless of Crossways who is using a waterless product for his business.

"It's amazing because a 500ml bottle will save a ton of water," said Paul who is the only person in the area distributing Miracle Dry Wash.

The product is eco-friendly as well because it contains no detergents.

Paul, who runs Prestige Mobile Valeting Services, said: "I think it must have been designed for the desert.

"I had been looking for a waterless product because I was conscious how much water I was getting through.

"I still use some water because you need it for really grubby wheels but it's nowhere near as much as I used to get through.

"As well as using it for valeting I can distribute it as well. Customers are impressed because they know it's better for the environment."

Award-winning Waterless Car Cleaning Kit Now Available from Amazon

Miracle Drywash is taken on by yet another major retail outlet

Crawley, West Sussex: It was announced today that the giant online store, Amazon.co.uk, now stocks the car washing kit that needs no water – Miracle Drywash.

The environmentally friendly cleaning product, each bottle of which saves one ton of water, was first sold, mid 2007, through the UK’s largest doorstep milk home delivery distributor, Dairy Crest. Then later that year, the product was made available through Marks & Spencer’s shops and online via their website.

The latest company to join the list of big-name resellers of Miracle Drywash is Amazon.co.uk who are already listing the product on their site here.

Miracle Drywash Car Cleaning Kit

Tim Jones, Chairman, SJK Products is delighted with Amazon’s decision to sell Miracle Drywash. “This latest news is further proof that Miracle Drywash is a product that is really going somewhere. It is also good news for the environment because it means less wasted water and fewer polluted rivers as people switch from the bucket and sponge method when cleaning their car, caravan, motorhome, or motorbike, to the spray on and polish off method of Miracle Drywash,” he said.

About Miracle Drywash
Miracle Drywash, manufactured by SJK Products Ltd in Crawley, West Sussex, is a totally waterless washing and polishing system – a revolutionary way to both clean and polish your car, boat, motorbike, or any other metal, glass, or painted surface - with only a single application of the product. It both prevents pollutants and detergents from entering the river system and each bottle saves 1 ton of water. The product was endorsed by South East Water in 2006 and was awarded the prestigious Waterwise Marque in 2007 for its contribution towards saving water in the UK. The company, SJK Products, was co-founded by SJ Khebbal, CEO and Tim Jones, Chairman in 2004.

Revolutionary Waterless Car Cleaning System on TV

SJ Khebbal, CEO of Miracle Drywash
& John Rickard, General Manager of Fernley
at Gatwick Airport

Miracle Drywash and Fernley appear together on BBC TV

In October, it was announced by press release that Miracle Drywash - the revolutionary way to wash and polish vehicles - was being used by Fernley Gatwick Ltd to clean cars airside initially at Gatwick airport, then at the airports of Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Dublin, Cork, Liverpool and Nice in France, Brussels in Belgium and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

BBC South East Today considered this big news both as a business story (local firm wins big international order) and a good news environmental story as millions of tons of water will now be saved, and thousands of litres of detergents will no longer be entering the river system via storm drains.

Airside at Gatwick, the BBC filmed interviews with John Rickard, General Manager of Fernley and with SJ Khebbal, CEO of Miracle Drywash. They also showed the product being used by a Fernley employee. It was a really good report which was included in several news bulletins throughout the day as well as being available on the BBC website. Here it is in full:

And here are a few behind-the-scenes photos:

You can buy the product online here: http://www.miracledrywash.com/purchase.php and it is also now available from Marks & Spencer.

Miracle Drywash – used by X2P, producers of the TV motoring show “Pulling Power”

A few months ago, Miracle Drywash had a stand at the Summer Magic Night at the Proms at Borde Hill Garden. See:

http://uptone.blogspot.com/2007/08/miracle-drywash-sponsors-spitfire.html

The event was being filmed by X2 Productions who happen to also produce the TV motoring show called ‘Pulling Power’. The cameraman saw a demonstration of the product and was impressed with what it could do and how clean AND polished it made the car. So he took a sample of the product to try it out.

The verdict: the product is ideal for a film crew on location because they often need to clean their cars but have no access to a hosepipe. And when they do find water, the process of washing their cars with it is a messy business and they can’t do it in direct sunlight either.

They loved Miracle Drywash and hope to do a report on it in a future programme!

Fernley Chooses Waterless Carwash System for the Cleaning of all Airside Vehicles at Gatwick Airport

Miracle Drywash is the Solution to BAA’s Strict Water Quality Environmental Regulations

Crawley, West Sussex: Crawley-based firm SJK Products announced today that the airport cleaning firm Fernley, part of the Europe-wide airport services conglomerate International Aviation Services (IAS), has chosen its product, Miracle Drywash, to clean all of its airside vehicles at Gatwick Airport.

Fernley will use the waterless car cleaning system to wash both their own fleet and several clients’ vehicles and equipment totaling over 120 at Gatwick, which include pushback tugs, baggage trucks, water and toilet servicing trucks, de-icing trucks, cars and vans, with each vehicle being cleaned on a 3-4 week cycle.

“We were faced with the problem of how to comply with Gatwick's Airside vehicle washing instructions, forbidding the use of detergents when washing vehicles. These regulations are one of the measures used by the airport to comply with Environment Agency water quality rules to prevent pollution of the rivers surrounding the airport," explains John Rickards, General Manager of Fernley. "BAA’s rules stipulate that the use of ‘water only’ in the traditional way to clean Airside vehicles is permitted, but a long term solution to this must be found. This new method of vehicle cleaning uses no water and therefore has the additional benefit of reducing the airport’s water consumption.”

Due to the airport controls, Fernley had to find a solution, and discovered to their surprise that the waterless carwash system, Miracle Drywash, was being manufactured virtually in the same town - Crawley.

“We’ve now trialed Miracle Drywash and found that it does exactly what it says it does. It saves us time; it uses no water; it doesn’t pollute the environment and has given us great results – satisfying both the customers’ and our needs. It is a very very good product,” confirms John. “We chose it for these reasons, but also because its manufacturer happened to be close by, and because we have found SJK Products to be an attentive and efficient company, responsive to our needs.”

SJ Khebbal, CEO of SJK Products with John Rickards,
General Manager of Fernley
at Gatwick Airport

Fernley presented Miracle Drywash to BAA as the solution to their water quality regulations and BAA approved their use of the product.

CEO of SJK Products, SJ Khebbal, is delighted with Fernley’s decision to go with Miracle Drywash. “To have been given approval from Fernley and BAA in turn is a real honour for us and proof that our product really is environmentally friendly as well as testament to its cleaning efficiency,” says Khebbal. “Most people are not aware that when they wash their car in the traditional way, their dirty soapy water is actually harming the environment. So I hope this announcement will go some way in educating people about this problem.”

Fernley intends to gradually roll out use of Miracle Drywash on airside vehicles in all of the other airports in which the company operates including Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Dublin, Cork, Liverpool and Nice in France, Brussels in Belgium and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
