Miracle Drywash – used by X2P, producers of the TV motoring show “Pulling Power”
A few months ago, Miracle Drywash had a stand at the Summer Magic Night at the Proms at Borde Hill Garden. See:
http://uptone.blogspot.com/2007/08/miracle-drywash-sponsors-spitfire.html
The event was being filmed by X2 Productions who happen to also produce the TV motoring show called ‘Pulling Power’. The cameraman saw a demonstration of the product and was impressed with what it could do and how clean AND polished it made the car. So he took a sample of the product to try it out.
The verdict: the product is ideal for a film crew on location because they often need to clean their cars but have no access to a hosepipe. And when they do find water, the process of washing their cars with it is a messy business and they can’t do it in direct sunlight either.
They loved Miracle Drywash and hope to do a report on it in a future programme!

Fernley Chooses Waterless Carwash System for the Cleaning of all Airside Vehicles at Gatwick Airport
Miracle Drywash is the Solution to BAA’s Strict Water Quality Environmental Regulations
Crawley, West Sussex: Crawley-based firm SJK Products announced today that the airport cleaning firm Fernley, part of the Europe-wide airport services conglomerate International Aviation Services (IAS), has chosen its product, Miracle Drywash, to clean all of its airside vehicles at Gatwick Airport.
Fernley will use the waterless car cleaning system to wash both their own fleet and several clients’ vehicles and equipment totaling over 120 at Gatwick, which include pushback tugs, baggage trucks, water and toilet servicing trucks, de-icing trucks, cars and vans, with each vehicle being cleaned on a 3-4 week cycle.
“We were faced with the problem of how to comply with Gatwick's Airside vehicle washing instructions, forbidding the use of detergents when washing vehicles. These regulations are one of the measures used by the airport to comply with Environment Agency water quality rules to prevent pollution of the rivers surrounding the airport," explains John Rickards, General Manager of Fernley. "BAA’s rules stipulate that the use of ‘water only’ in the traditional way to clean Airside vehicles is permitted, but a long term solution to this must be found. This new method of vehicle cleaning uses no water and therefore has the additional benefit of reducing the airport’s water consumption.”
Due to the airport controls, Fernley had to find a solution, and discovered to their surprise that the waterless carwash system, Miracle Drywash, was being manufactured virtually in the same town - Crawley.
“We’ve now trialed Miracle Drywash and found that it does exactly what it says it does. It saves us time; it uses no water; it doesn’t pollute the environment and has given us great results – satisfying both the customers’ and our needs. It is a very very good product,” confirms John. “We chose it for these reasons, but also because its manufacturer happened to be close by, and because we have found SJK Products to be an attentive and efficient company, responsive to our needs.”
SJ Khebbal, CEO of SJK Products with John Rickards,
General Manager of Fernley at Gatwick Airport
General Manager of Fernley at Gatwick Airport
Fernley presented Miracle Drywash to BAA as the solution to their water quality regulations and BAA approved their use of the product.
CEO of SJK Products, SJ Khebbal, is delighted with Fernley’s decision to go with Miracle Drywash. “To have been given approval from Fernley and BAA in turn is a real honour for us and proof that our product really is environmentally friendly as well as testament to its cleaning efficiency,” says Khebbal. “Most people are not aware that when they wash their car in the traditional way, their dirty soapy water is actually harming the environment. So I hope this announcement will go some way in educating people about this problem.”
Fernley intends to gradually roll out use of Miracle Drywash on airside vehicles in all of the other airports in which the company operates including Heathrow, Stansted, Luton, Manchester, Dublin, Cork, Liverpool and Nice in France, Brussels in Belgium and Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

UK-based Miracle Drywash Appoints Exclusive Australian Distributor
Aquafree Drywash Pty Ltd now trading as Miracle Drywash Australia
Crawley, UK and Melbourne, Australia – June 2007: Rapidly expanding Crawley-based company, SJK Products Ltd, manufacturers of the waterless carwash product, Miracle Drywash, has appointed exclusive distributorship to a Melbourne company. Aquafree Drywash Pty Ltd., now trading as Miracle Drywash Australia, has enabled Miracle Drywash products to be readily available throughout Australia.
Ursula McCoy, MD of Miracle Drywash Australia, feels the product has got a bright future in the country where she has now been living since 1989. Originally from Derry, Northern Ireland, Ursula first came across Miracle Drywash in November 2006 when she was on holiday, staying with her brother in law in Scotland. He was running a caravan park website at the time and was interested in the product as it is very popular with caravaners.
“My brother in law had a bottle of Miracle Drywash so we tried it out and really liked what we found,” she recounts. “Water restrictions are in place in all major cities of Australia due to the severe drought that we are currently experiencing. These include restrictions on watering our lawns, using sprinkler systems, refilling swimming pools and washing vehicles, so I think Miracle Drywash is a greatly needed product over here.
“What I really like about Miracle Drywash is that it builds up a really good polish after repeated use. You can tell because the water beads over the polished surface. And I know this is something that other waterless carwash systems don’t do because I researched into what else was on the market,” she asserts.
“Miracle Drywash is a convenience product. It makes it so easy for those living in apartments, for example, to clean their cars – and it will also save a great deal of Australia’s water,” she adds.
SJ Khebbal, founder, is delighted with Ursula’s appointment as his Australian distributor. “That’s Australia in the bag and we are now in talks with possible distributors for several other countries. Things are going really well!”

SJ Khebbal, founder of Crawley-based Miracle Drywash, presented his company’s first tranch of sponsorship funds to Niki Lanik, the Y4HR UK driver and reigning Renault Clio Winter Cup champion at Niki’s Ashurst Wood home during a special cheque-presentation ceremony attended by family and friends.
